The society was founded some 80 years ago to perform the works of W.S. Gilbert and Arthur Sullivan.

The group puts on one performance a year running from Tuesday to Saturday usually in the first week of March.

Rehearsals start in September and we rehearse Principals on Tuesdays and Chorus on Fridays.

We are always on the lookout for “New Talent” whether you are a Soprano, Alto, Tenor or Bass.
If you are not sure what your vocal range is our Musical Director will be able to help.

The ability to read music is not essential but would be an advantage.

If you are not into “Treading the Boards” we have work for idle hands helping build scenery, stage crew, make up and front of house staff.

If you have clicked on the link  Building Project  you will have seen that we no longer perform in the Church.

We have for the past few years had the use of Norton Lees Parish Hall, which unfortunately has been demolished and replaced with housing.

We now have a new temporary venue at the  Dronfield Civic Hall,   Dronfield Civic Centre, Dronfield
